The Tema Development Corporation Limited, TDCL, has demolished Kaiser Flat, block 414. The flat was among an initial five blocks earmarked for demolition.
Military men were present at the scene to supervise the exercise. Occupants of the block are said to have long vacated the building.
When GBC NEWS contacted the Corporation, an anonymous source said plans to demolish the building is not new, as residents already knew it was due for demolition.
