Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak yesterday played out a goalless draw game in the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The goalkeepers for the two teams, Richard Atta and Razak Abalora, stole the headlines, after each saved a penalty in the game played behind closed doors due to COVID-19 restrictions.
It took only three minutes to see the first big chance of the game.
Hearts of Oak were dominant in the first half, largely pinning Kotoko to their own half but a combination of good goalkeeping from Abalora and at times poor decision making from the Hearts of Oak attackers ensured the first half ended goalless.
After recess, Kotoko’s Naby Keita forced a strong save from Atta with a 20-yard strike, moments after Razak fired wide from a tight angle for the Phobians.
