Ded Buddy, a Ghanaian Musician has revealed that he is the King of R&B music in Ghana, because he started that genre here before anyone else did. He made this revelation on GTV’s Breakfast Show on January 24, 2022 during the Lifestyle Segment.
Eric Turkson, aka Ded Buddy is a Singer and Songwriter who explained that he brought R&B Music to Ghana, therefore he is a king and nobody should dispute that fact.
”I do not feel intimidated when it comes to competing with the other Artists for a spot but rather the gatekeepers in the music industry should in togetherness help push Ghana music to the top”, he said
Ded Buddy has an EP coming up which is titled “Adansi” of which “Obaa” is one of the songs on the EP. He wishes not to have a collaboration with any Artist in Ghana for now because according to him, he tried reaching out to some top Artists in Ghana who either turned him down or were rude towards him, although he has some songs with Guru, and Kidi amongst others.
The “King of R&B Music”, added that he does not need someone to make him, ”God is the only one we look up to”, he stated
