Talented Kenyan beauty influencer, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, Sharon Rosina Odongo, says before anyone becomes a master in make-up artistry, lots of mistakes will be made, but that should not discourage them from forging ahead.

She encouraged all to correct their mistakes and move on; stressing on the adage ‘practice, makes perfect’.

Eventually, even before you become a master, you will love to make a lotI have made a lot of mistakes in my life. Even in the make-up industry sometimes, even during bridal ones. I‘ve messed up big time before I became who I am now, and that should not stop you from doing it again,” she urged.

Speaking on GTV’s Breakfast Show, Rosina Odongo urged all make-up artists to be unique in their own way.

You have to be true to yourself. Every make-up artist is different. I am good at eye make-up. Somebody is good at face make-up. You have to be true to yourself. Don’t just keep copying. Identify something that is true to you and then learn the technique,” she said.

The beauty influencer added that consistency on social media is key to growing ones publics.

“I think it was mostly my consistency that made me. When you become too consistent, YouTube recommends your videos publicly. So when they recommend just one video alone, it makes a lot of change,” she stated.

Rosina Sharon Odongo is a talented make up artist born and raised in Kalokol, Turkana country who studied law and fell in love with make-up art on YouTube.

Currently, she has close to 681K subscribers to her channel.
