The Police have intensified investigations into the murder of two persons at Takoratwene near Maame Krobo in the Eastern Region by deploying a Specialised Investigative Team to assist the Eastern North Regional Police Command.
A statement signed and issued by Assistant Commissioner of Police Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs, said the Team, which had been deployed from the Police Headquarters, included crime scene experts and homicide investigators.
It said the Police were in regular contact with the families of the victims and working closely with community leaders to find an acceptable and quick solution to this tragic situation.
The statement urged the community to remain calm and continue to support the Police as they worked towards the maintenance of peace, security,law and order.
The Police expressed confidence that tle perpetrators of the heinous crime would be found and brought to face justice.
