Veteran Journalist Mr. Yaw Boadu Ayeboafo has been re-elected Chairman of the National Media Commission, NMC. He emerged the highest with ten votes as against six by Ben Assorow
The voting took place today after a Swearing-in ceremony for new Members to the Media Commission.
Mr. Ayeboafoh pledged not to disappoint the media in particular and the public in general in the discharge of his functions as Chairman. He said he will work on sharpening the analytical skills of journalists to improve their performance. He admitted that he can’t do the work alone.
“This calls for cooperation of fellow Commissioners of the NMC to make the desired impact on the media landscape”, he said
Sir Ben Assorow who lost 8- 9 to Ayeboafoh in the last election in 2018 promised to support him to excel.
