The Coalition of Muslim Organization, Ghana (COMOG) has given a 7-day ultimatum to the Australian High Commission, Danish Ambassador and EU delegation to apologize to Ghanaians for the support given to the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI) community.

This follows attendance of the officials to the opening of a new office space for the LGBTQI PLUS community in Accra this month.

Speaking at a news conference in Accra, President of the Organization, Hajj Abdel Manan Abdel Rahman said failure of the officials to do so will spur them to go on demonstration.

It called on the Security agencies to arrest and prosecutes promoters of LGBTQI+ in the country.
