Covid-19: Hoteliers express mixed reaction over lifting of ban

Some Hoteliers in the New Juaben Municipality in Koforidua have expressed dissatisfaction at patronage after the ban on operations of hotels was lifted in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak in Ghana.

The CEO of NASCO Hotel, Kwaku Okyere in an interview with Radio Ghana said his Hotel is recording low patronage since the ban on hotels was lifted.

On COVID 19 relief packages which government is providing in a form of loans, Mr. Okyere said his hotel is yet to receive its share though he has applied for the relief.

General Manager of the Eastern Premier Hotel, Frederick Otoo said sales is steadily improving since the lifting of the ban.
