The Ghana Police Service has finally cleared campaigners of the #FixTheCountry movement to go ahead with their protest on Wednesday, August 4.
This follows a successful meeting on Monday, July 19, between the police administration and the conveners.
The police in a statement said they are poised to provide the necessary security for the safety of the planned demonstration.
Among the issues discussed were the route for the march and the COVID-19 pandemic.
The statement adds that the police and conveners will continue to deliberate until the day of demonstration.
