Members of the Ghana National Association of Small-scale Miners have called on their executives to resign.
They accused them of running the association without regard for the welfare of small-scale miners since their election four years ago.
Among other things, they accused the leaders of failing to account to members, adhering to the Association’s constitution, and exploiting the rank and file for personal gain.
The leaders are again being accused of “allocating 30 out of 90 concessions designated for national distribution to certain executives.
