The Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association is appealing to government to make credit facilities available to members for their businesses to survive.
Public Relations Officer of the Association, Eric Okyere Antwi, said most spare parts dealers in the country are suffocating under the ravages of the Covid-19 pandemic coupled with lack of access to loans which if even given comes with high interest rates.
Speaking to GBC NEWS to drum home the Association’s expectations for Friday’s budget presentation, Mr Antwi called on government to ensure strict enforcement of the law that prohibits foreigners from engaging in retail business.
