Today’s scheduled meeting of Transport Unions to discuss upward adjustment in fares was postponed
The meeting between the various Commercial Transport Operators scheduled for today to deliberate on a possible increase in transport fares has been postponed to Thursday January 27.
In an interview with GBC News, Head of Communications at GPRTU, Abass Imoro, said a three-member Committee has been set up to investigate why the Government has still not scrapped some taxes on petroleum products proposed by the Transport Unions.
He told Nathaniel Nartey that findings from the report will inform decisions for the upcoming meeting.
