The Chairman of Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee, Mr. James Klutse Avedzi says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration must secure a property given to Ghana’s mission in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The said landed property was given to Ghana in 1973 and can be secured at €160,000.
Explaining to the Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, said unfortunately because we have not made a decision to be resident in Islamabad, it has not been possible for Ghana to build anything on that land.
