Ghana’s President-elect, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, has announced the formation of his 2024 Transition Team as part of efforts to ensure a smooth transfer of power from the outgoing administration.
The announcement, made on December 10, 2024, adheres to the guidelines set forth in the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845).
The team, composed of experienced professionals from various sectors, including finance, governance, and public administration, will work closely with representatives of the outgoing government.
Their goal is to ensure a seamless handover of responsibilities to the incoming administration, fostering stability and continuity in governance.
Members of the 2024 Transition Team:

- Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey – Member
- Dr. Callistus Mahama – Member/Secretary to the Transition Team
- Dr. Valerie Sawyer – Member

- Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson – Member
- 8 Hon. Mahama Ayariga – Member
- Hon. Goosie Tanoh – Member
