Former President John Dramani Mahama has expressed strong confidence in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) winning the 2024 elections and gaining a majority in parliament.

Speaking after voting at Bole Bamboi, Mahama praised the party’s campaign efforts and the positive response from voters. “I am confident that we will secure victory and a majority in parliament,” he stated. He also described the voting process as smooth and hoped it was the same nationwide.

On the other hand, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia also shared his optimism about the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) chances in the polls.

“By the grace of God, I am very hopeful of winning this election. We have worked hard and shared our message with the people,” Bawumia said. “I believe that when the ballots are counted, the NPP, myself, and our parliamentary candidates will emerge victorious.”
