The Minority Caucus in Parliament has expressed its displeasure about the blatant refusal by the government to emboss the name of the late former President, Evans John Atta-Mills on a bust erected in his honour.
Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, said the group and the family of the late President were surprised to see the name of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo; and the Chief Executive Officer of Atta-Mills Memorial Institute, Mr. Koku Anyidaho on the bust instead of the late President, Evan John Fiifi Atta-Mills.
The group is, therefore, calling on President Akufo-Addo and others who erected the bust to go back and do the honourable thing by effecting changes in the inscriptions.
“Go and replace the name of the late former President, Prof. John Evans Atta-Mills with your name and a brief history about him,” the Minority added.
