The National Democratic Congress (NDC), has reaffirmed its commitment to using its expected victory in the December 7 general elections to drive Ghana towards progress and prosperity.
Speaking at a press briefing on Sunday, December 8, at the party’s headquarters, NDC General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey said the party is ready to serve the nation responsibly with its new mandate.
Fifi Kwetey urged the Electoral Commission (EC) and its Chairperson, Jean Mensa, to ensure that the official declaration of results is not delayed.
He expressed confidence in the outcome of the elections, describing the NDC’s victory as clear and indisputable. “We have secured a very significant majority, which we intend to use responsibly for the benefit of all Ghanaians,” Kwetey said.
He added, “The presidential results are already clear, and we urge the EC to announce them without unnecessary delays. The victory is already in the bag.”
The NDC leadership remains optimistic as the nation awaits the final announcement of the election results.
