President Akufo-Addo and his Vice Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, have donated some assorted food items to the family of the late Alhaji Baba Alhassan, Ashiaman New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency Youth Organiser, as their widow’s mite to the family following his demise.
The delegation was led by Mr Frank Agyei-Twum, the Communication Director at the Office of the Vice President, Mr Hassan Tampuli, the Chief Executive Officer of, National Petroleum Authority and Mr Aziz Futa, the National National Nasara Coordinator.
The donation comprised bags of rice, sugar and an undisclosed amount of money to the family and children of late constituency Organiser.
The delegation expressed plans by the NPP leadership to establish a welfare scheme to cater for the children of the late NPP Youth Organiser.
From the family house, the delegation visited the mosque, where Baba Alhassan used to worship when he was alive and donated bags of rice and sugar and an undisclosed amount to them.
The delegation was accompanied by the Deputy National Youth Organizer — Joseph Kwajaya, Moses Abor — Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer and some constituency Youth Organizers in the Greater Accra Region.
