Nominee for Minister for Railway Development, John Peter Amewu, has apologised for comments that he will kill some Members of Parliament.
The MP for Hohoe on the dawn of 7th January during the election of the Speaker and inauguration of the 8th Parliament was seen making gestures that suggest he will kill some people.
During his vetting, Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu put the question to him on why he made those gestures and comments that he will kill some colleagues in the House.
The nominee who admitted to making the comments said it was out of anger and apologised for them.
Mr. Amewu who is being vetted for the Railway Ministry said construction and rehabilitation of rail lines between Accra and Kumasi is high on his agenda should he be approved.
