The 13th African Games, which will be hosted in Ghana, has officially been backed with a theme song to spark the euphoria of the tournament. The official song for the 13th African Games was launched by the Local Organising Committee at the World Trade Centre in Accra.

The official launch of the theme song had great purposes in projecting the 13th African Games with a perfect tune, which would charge the atmosphere towards the big tournament in March 2024.

The theme song titled “Experience the African Dream” was composed by forty-three-year old Ghanaian musician and songwriter Ebenezer Crassie, with some great tunes from President of the Musicians Union of Ghana, Bessa Simons.

The event was highly attended by some heads of sporting associations, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Sports Authority, and the Executive Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare, who was also present, spearheading the project.

Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare drew out the significance of the launch of an official theme song for the 13th African Games, and he encouraged the media to give the theme song more exposure on all media platforms.

“The theme song is the soul of the African Games, and it is expected to evoke passion and draw following. I am pleading with the media to give the song the needed publicity as we promote it on various media platforms,” said Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare.

The 13th African Games is slated to start from March 8th to March 23rd, 2024.
