Government has announced plans to construct a new Olympic Sports Stadium for Ghana.
We may build a new Olympic Sports Stadium for Ghana soon, Minister for Youth and Sports, Isaac Kwame Asiamah, has said.
“There is an elaborate programme that will be rolled up very soon.”
Addressing journalists at the Meet-the-Press series in Accra on Wednesday December 4, he explained that the new Olympic Sports Stadium is going to be transformed into a modern sports centre of excellence.
Touching on horse racing, he said the sport will also receive a big boost.
“I am in touch with the GOC President, Ben Nunoo Mensah, on plans to support the rest of the federations to go to Tokyo 2020,” he added.
