NSA to close down Accra Sports Stadium for Christmas activities

The National Sports Authority (NSA), has announced the closure of the Accra Sports Stadium in December for all sporting activities.

So clubs like Hearts of Oak, Accra Lions, and Great Olympics, who will be playing their matches at the Accra Sports Stadium, will have to move to an alternative venue for their home games.

However, the stadium will be used for Christmas activities.

This was contained in a letter signed by the Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Professor Peter Twumasi.

“The venue will not be available for matches in December, and so all clubs are encouraged to use their alternative venues to honour their matches in December.

The National Sports Authority wishes to inform you about the unavailability of the Accra Sports Stadium in December for all sporting activities. By this letter, the clubs that use the Accra Sports Stadium are entreated to use their alternative venues to host their home games in December,” part of the letter read.
